Back in 2008, Pauline Telford and Dennis Burns were invited to the British All Winners Festival in the Isle of Man to perform The Extraordinary Revelations of Orca the Goldfish. Together with the production team and crew, Pauline and Dennis began to fundraise for the trip – which anyone living in Guernsey knows is no mean feat. On their victorious return to Guernsey, there were some funds remaining. Despite the initial temptation to blow it all in a local pub, they decided to establish a charitable trust to support young people within the performing arts arena.
Orca is now a company limited by guarantee and celebrates 18 years of supporting young actors, musicians and dancers.
Our continued mission:
Helping young people reach their potential through the performing arts.
We are very proud to have the former Bailiff of Guernsey, Sir Richard McMahon, as our Patron.
